A doublecloth is produced when two sets of warp yarns and one or more sets of weft yarns which, when woven, become interconnected and form a single cloth comprised of two layers. The movement of threads between the layers allow for specialized surface textures. The yarns in this particular doublecloth are compacted, hard-twisted polyester, which give the cloth a dry touch, beautiful drape and a rumpled vintage look. The pieces in this group are hand washable and resist wrinkling. Made in Japan.
