the store Country farmhouse meets urban industrial is how we would describe the Comrags flagship boutique. Azure magazine characterizes the store as "basking in a warm, sentimental glow", reflecting "the romantic yet forthright character of its clothing". We try to reflect that glow in the way we deal with our customers -- everyone leaves with something that makes them look and feel great. New stock arrives every couple of weeks or so but we only ever produce a limited number of each style so, to get that unique piece, drop by as often as you can to see what we've come up with. We often don't know, until we happen on a piece of fabric we love, what we're going to do! Our flagship boutique is located at 654 Queen Street West, 2 blocks west of Bathurst on the north side of the street. Free side street parking is available as is meter parking on Queen. Store hours, which may change during the holiday season, are as follows: Mon Tues & Wed      11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thurs & Fri       11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday 12 noon to 5 p.m.

(April 2002) Ten years ago, when Comrags moved into the neighbourhood it felt as though we were on the edge of change. Located in the heart of West Queen West, we were part of a small enclave of boutiques, antique shops, restaurants and cafes that catered to those with eclectic tastes. The neighbourhood is now called the West Queen West Art and Design District – a hotbed of Canadian interior design and fashion, as well as a designated Gallery District with a list of galleries that seems to grow every day.
