Bright Night
We love challenges so to be asked to design something that ‘looks’ as good in the dark as it does in the light was a lot of fun. We have done a jacket that has subtle textures. The fringe apron is playful for the wearer and for anyone else who is invited to feel! There is a beaded brail detail that says ‘ I feel pretty in Comrags’. We hope they do.

DARE TO WEAR LOVE
Comrags has been invited to participate in the closing show of LG fashion Week: Dare to Wear Love. The FDCC and Hoax Couture will be hosting an amazing show of designs from 25 of Canada’s top fashion designers created out of fabrics sourced in Africa by the Stephen Lewis Foundation. The show is an awareness builder and fundraising initiative for the foundation, combining the creativity and glamour of the fashion community with its passion to make a difference in the world.

The Contact Photography Event is held in Toronto for the month of May. For the first 2 weeks of May we will be having our own photography exhibit by one of our former staff, Kate Hampel. We take motherly pride as our staff move onto bigger and better things and Kate has blossomed into a real artist.
