If you do need a bag, you will be happy to know that for every nickel collected Comrags will match it and make an annual donation to our local food bank, but the real idea behind this program is to stop using plastic bags. Sarah Slean scored this upcycled Hockey dress for her Recession-ista Tour. When the tour ends it will be auctioned off on eBay with proceeds going to the David Suzuki Foundation.

The reference library hosted the Toronto Comic Arts Festival (www.torontocomics.com) and thanks to the illustration by Kagan McLeod in the Weekend Post – we were there!
The “Miriam” dress was spotted on director Alison Rose at the Hotdocs (www.hotdocs.ca) showing of her film: Love at the Starlite Motel.
The week ended with Joyce’s daughter Sally’s annual lemonade stand raising over $150 for the Cure Foundation.
