Grocery stores are not the only businesses required to charge 5 cents a bag – we are too. If you do need a bag, you will be happy to know that for every nickel collected Comrags will match it and make an annual donation to our local food bank, but the real idea behind this program is to stop using plastic bags. So, this is a friendly reminder to bring a bag from home the next time you go out shopping!

Sarah Slean scored this upcycled Hockey dress for her Recession-ista Tour. When the tour ends it will be auctioned off on eBay with proceeds going to the David Suzuki Foundation.
